BFS manufactures two primary types of pressurized deaerators, each using a specific mechanical approach to enhance dissolved gas removal from boiler feedwater.


Spray-Type Deaerator – Class S
- Pressurized operation with mechanical spray system.
- Water is atomized through spray nozzles to maximize surface area in contact with steam.
- Compact and efficient design.
- Ideal for medium- to high-capacity boiler systems.
- Typical operating temperature: up to 105 °C (227 °F).
Tray-Type Deaerator – Class T
- Pressurized operation with cascading trays.
- Water flows from tray to tray, enhancing steam contact and mechanical degasification.
- Designed for applications requiring extremely low oxygen levels.
- Exceptional performance for large-capacity or high-purity systems.
- Oxygen removal to < 0.005 cc/liter.
